The school was officially launched on the 15th of September, 2003 and named Deen Master Foundation School. However, it could not start operation until Wednesday the 24th day of September, 2003. This was as a result of the vacation of the school after the sixth year anniversary of De – Master Coaching Centre which was converted to Deen Master Foundation School.

Since there was a coaching centre before the establishment of the school, almost all the pupils of the coaching centre were converted to the pupils of Deen Master Foundation School. With the aid of house – to – house advertisement, admission forms of about one hundred and fifty (150) were sold. However, only one hundred and five (105) forms were returned; hence this number of candidates resumed in the school.

De – Master Coaching Centre had nine tutors among whom four were retained after passing a rigorous screening test. The test was set in such a way to test the candidates’ teaching experience, reasoning ability, writing ability, communication skill and their wealth of mathematical knowledge.

For the fact that the school undoubtedly needed more capable hands to fill the existing vacuum, vacancy notice was drawn out. Many applications were received and the applicants were asked to sit for a rigorous recruitment test as well. The successful candidates were invited for an oral interview and five among them were eventually selected.

Meanwhile, the appointment of the school was formalized and he resumed duty on the 15th of September, 2003.

Likewise, all non – teaching were employed effective from the same date.
